1. In the toilet, the telephone and the socket are placed on the mirror besides the basin.
1.1Telephone:
This is convenient only to the person standing in front of the basin. But he/she can just go out to receive the phone if it rings. It is not possible/very inconvenient for the one bathing/sitting on the toilet bowl to pick up the phone. The best location for the phone is the on the wall slab above the toilet bowl and screened from the bathtub.
1.2 The socket:
This should best be used for hair dryer. But then you need to hang the dryer on the mirrow as well which is not very secure.
Moreover, the telephone socket and the electrical socket are loosely fixed onto the miorror because, accoring the the Handerson staff, they are afraid that the mirror will be broken. So it cannot dbe screwed on tightly. This loose fixing is unsafe - might get electrically shock or break the mirror when plugging and unplugging.
I propose move the fixings to the above mentioned location for teh phone and electriacl socket, but holes will be left oo the mirror. I also proposed to my renovator to replace the mirror but they said they need to move the cabinets, washing basin and everything and they are afriad that the mirror will be broken.
I would suggest to Handerson to remove the unsafe/nasty/miserable sockets on the mirror, and replace the mirror. Though without much hope, I would still try this.
2. Auto lighting in the toilet:
A real idiot design. It will turn off after 30sec unless you are waving/moving vigorously. The repair man came 2 days ago and said this was normal. He suggest me move my hands every now and then when I am sitting on the toilet bowl. He then gave me 2 choices: defeat this or set the timer to 3 minutes. For the latter you still need to wave vigorously when doing the "big thing", if exceeding 3 minutes. This is insane. Why not replace with a more sensitive sensor?
How do you sugest me to follow up for this one?
