It's absolutely a good thing! It can boost up the land value of near-by building. The view will be better and it could creat another landmark in Hong Kong.
At this moment, government is planning to build up more green-place at Kai Tak area, high-rise building would not be considered. (From the town-planning government web site).
Though there will be more noise production, but this would not be a great problem. Would you observe any noise complains at TST commerical area? Noise will be more but not a noise-pollution!
I wonder, will governemnt select the sea area outside Kai Tak to launch fire-work once Kai Tak area is fully built ler?
